How the joke was born |
The joke also known as an anecdote, or gag. It is short story aimed to amuse the reader or listener. Jokes are mostly based on ambiguity, but of course this dos not have to be the rule.
The joke should not miss elements of absurdity or paradox. Jokes are short text, made with a strong and strike punchline. It spreads mainly in the oral tradition that is usualy perfectly performed by comedians, but occur also in magazines.

Word „anecdote“ |
The word "anecdote" comes from Greek and means "what is not being published." By that name was initially marked only texts for various reasons were not disclosed. They were sometimes given only in oral form. The Procopios Record from the sixth century AD carried the name "An anecdote". This file contains secret stories from the life of the Emperor Justinian.
In the Renaissance joke obtained a great popularity, and gave the basis for creating the novel. Anecdotes also survived from ancient sermons where it served as a moral lesson.
Gradually, joke began to appear in the chronicles, but were also part of the flyers that have been enlivened with jokes. A typical genre in which the posts are based on fun, is called a satire.

Anecdotes began to play a large role in many well known personalities. Relevant example is Sigmund Freud, who wrote a book about jokes and regarded joke as one of the possibilities how to express your opinion and feelings. Jaroslav Hasek also discovered a creative literary sense of anecdotal style.

When an employee is using funny expressions, then he/she tries to get apart from the others or directly identifies his own work. Even managers are joking. The main rules to a good joke is timing, precision, synthesis, and especially rhythm. Precision must be achieved by every comedian. Its task is to select appropriate fresh words that will provide a response of laught.

Joke depends on the unexpected humor, but some of them are taboo because they contain outrageous or immoral social element.
